1990’s custom home interior renovation. Home owners wanted an open floor concept to combine kitchen/dinning/and living. We used massive structural engineered steel I-Beams and posts to support the removed load bearing walls. There were multiple step downs in flooring which were filled with concrete and covered in 12×36” tile and engineered textured wood floors to give a seamless feel and look. All new trim, barn door to new pantry and laundry were added. New custom cabinetry painted white with new hardware to complement kitchen beautiful quartz counters filled the island and lower cabinets. Another big change to the project was to remove the dated coffered ceiling in the dining room and replace with a cathedral ceiling accented with veneer brick and smear to finish. The home owner and designer choose a beautiful chandelier to top of the final dining room appearance. The final outcome came out absolutely stunning!
